Today is a beautiful, crisp, sunny winter day. It has been cloudy and snowy for the past 4 days. 4 days of soft gentle falling snow. Not the best to be driving in but makes everything magical. I love the days when it is just falling softly and covers the trees with puffs of white cotton. A couple of days before the snow fell I noticed 2 little friends looking for food. I imagine they can sense when it is going to snow so they have to fill their tummies to last through the snow. Zazu noticed them and I think she would have loved to get out there and see what they were doing on "her" property.
The little bunny was pretty brave to come on our deck. But I guess she could smell some leftover fall stuff in the planter. I think she was even nibbling on the moss in the planter. Every winter we have bunnies under our deck, but I have never seen the babies. The little squirrel was quite comfy sitting in the feeder and eating the rest of the sunflower seed. I love the sunny days of winter. Just look how my crystals shine and light up the room with rainbows.
