Well, school has started again and I have spend the day taking Christmas stuff down and carrying it into the basement. Last night we spent a nice quiet evening after having my 6 yr. old stepgrandson over for 2 nights. Man, is he busy little guy. Poor grandpa is exhausted. We did everything grandparents are supposed to do. Watched about 6 movies over the 2 days, ate junk food, and grandpa played and made forts with him in the rec room. They had a ball. I did quiet things with him because there were times when he needed to chill out, or maybe it was Grandpa that needed the rest.
They made forts, put Lego together, shoveled outside, played at the playground and looked at his collection of hockey cards. But it is nice to have the quiet again.
