rain, rain

Rain, rain, go away....another dull gray day.  Rain again until Wed. is forecast for our area. Oh, well, Yesteday was a really tough day, not because of the rain, but because it was my first Mother's Day without Mom.. My kids were terrrific. I started the day going to church with my daughter as I do every Sunday but when I got to her place, I just couldnt go to church. I was weepy, and crumbly(?)...so we went shopping instead,. She wasnt feeling that great but she wanted to go anyways...then my son and DIL phoned and suggested we go for gelati. I was supposed to be going to a bridal shower so that is why my kids hadn't made reserv ations at a restaurant. When they found out I had cancelled it was too late to go anywhere but the gelati place was great. We sat and just had a great time for about 3 hours. Love my kids. Turned out my day was pretty good after all.
