Cool down

Finally, this morning is a little cooler. Could sit outside on the deck, beautiful breeze. But then it got stormy around 8. Rain, rain, rain and small hail. I hope not enough to ruin my garden. Downpour. Thunder, lightning and more hail.  Just small little bits.
But it is much cooler, thank goodness. This 35C is too hot.

Lunch

Yesterday, met my son for lunch downtown. He started a new job a couple of months ago so I wanted to see where he works. I havent been downtown Winnipeg in ages so driving down there was quite different. Parking meters are no longer there, so now they have pay stations. Boy, am I ever behind the times.  But , neverthe less, had a great lunch at the Fyxx. Just talking about stuff.

MIA

I have been missing in action for a few months. I havent really been missing, just neglectful of my blog. I hereby resolve to keep posting regularly on my blog. A lot has happened since we went to Mesa, but I won't try to fill in the blanks, just continue from today. 
Today is hot,hot,hot here in Winnipeg. It is 11:00 a.m and the temperature is 30C already. Staying inside until the evening when it does get a little cooler. Have plenty to do in the house. I have started a new little business called, "Stuff and Such", where I make activities for teachers to use in their classrooms and sell them pretty inexpensively. I have also been a little neglectful of this too. I am now working on fall "stuff" that teachers can use in their classroom at the beginning of the school year. I will try to post some here too.

Mesa

We finally arrived in Mesa. Kind of cool but sunny and no snow. Celebrated my birthday by going to the Organstop Pizza. Will post pictures when i get home.

Four more "get-ups" and we leave for a month long vacation at Mesa, Arizona. Cant wait!!
